The Dynamic Accents Legacy Outdoor Wooden Dog Gate is constructed using solid white Oak wood making it impenetrable by liquids and durable in outdoor, rougher environments. Based on the 2, 4, and 6-panel folding design of the Dynamic Accent Highlander gate, the Legacy comes unstained to allow owners to color the gate to suit their design needs.
According to the USDA Wood Handbook, white Oak cells are filled with tyloses, which make the wood impenetrable by liquids. White Oak is highly resistant to the environment - it is tough, dense and does not scratch or dent easily. The grain is distinctive and consistent and it is an ideal wood for making outdoor dog gates. In fact, white Oak was actually used in the construction
of the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides) which still floats in the Boston Harbor today.
White Oak also accepts oils, stains and paints. Or, it or can simply be left alone to age naturally to a distinguished gray patina.
These distinctive outdoor wooden dog gates have not been coated
with any finishes to allow the consumer to match the gates to their existing porch, patio or furniture finishes or
allow them to weather to a natural patina.
Included with the Legacy is a custom 18" Velcro Strap, which allow consumers to secure the gates in custom pen formations or attach multiple gates together in temporary formations. The strap is also handy for securing the panels flat for storage.
