The extra-large Ideal® 150 Series™ VIP Vinyl Insulated Patio Pet Door (formerly the Ideal Vinyl Insulated Dog Patio Door) is designed for energy efficient insulated use with exisiting sliding glass patio doors. Specifically designed to fit vinyl sliding patio doors, this pet patio door features the Energy Efficient Double Wall Lexan® Multi-Flex Flap and is inserted beside your existing sliding patio door, ideal for allowing larger and extra-large dogs to freely move in and out. No assembly is required and complete installation takes a mere five minutes.
Designed for larger and extra-large dogs that are a maximum of 10 1/4" wide across ths shoulders, this patio dog door comes in standard patio door heights to match your current sliding door with an additional rise options, where "rise" is defined as the distance from the the floor to the bottom of the dog door opening. Varied patio dog door rises allow you to select an appropriate dog door suitable for the length of your dog's legs.

How to measure your pet:
Step 1: Dog Height
Measure your pet from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the chest, just behind their front legs. Add an inch or two for comfort.
Step 2: Dog Width
Measure the widest part of your pet (chest or hips). Add an inch or two for comfort.
Note: Allow room for pet's growth if they are not fully grown.
