To contact the owner of a found pet, select the "Contact Owner" tab at
http://lost.PetSquared.com. Enter the BackHome Pet ID# located on the back of the pet ID tag. Then enter the randomly generated
characters as displayed on the screen and click the "Contact!" button. The owner's preferred contact information will be displayed.
Note: If the pet has any immediate special needs - allergies, special diets, physical disabilities, medications, or other medical issues -
these will be displayed. Please review these before feeding the animal and contacting the owner.

Once your BackHome ID tag arrives in the mail, you register your pet at

Once the tag number is verified, you will then create a BackHome account by selecting a user name and password, listing your contact
information, and providing important details about your pet. Throughout this process, you determine how you want to be contacted and
how much information you wish to share when being contacted about your lost pet.
If you are registering more than one pet, simply select the "Add Another Pet" button.
To update your contact information, simply login to your account at
http://lost.PetSquared.com by selecting the "My Account" tab
and provide your BackHome user name and password. Once you are logged in, navigate to the "Contact Information" section and
make the necessary changes. Once your updates have been made, click the "Update Contact Info" button to save your updated
contact information.

To change your Backhome password, simply login to your account at
http://lost.PetSquared.com by selecting the "My Account" tab and submitting your user name and current password. Once
you are logged in, select the "Change Password" option located under the "Account Login Information" section. Enter your current
password and type a new password. Re-type your new password and click the "Change Password" button. Please note, once your
password has been changed you will be automatically logged out and must re-login
with your new password.
To retrieve a forgotten Backhome password, select the "My Account" tab at
http://lost.PetSquared.com and click the "Forgot your
password link?" located below the "Login" button. Enter your Backhome user name and a pet tag ID# linked to your account on the
"Forgot Your Password?" screen and click the "Submit" button. Your backHome password will be sent to the email address you entered when
you created your BackHome account.
A BackHome lost pet recovery account must be created to activate your 5% discount code. When you register your pet, your discount code
is automatically activated as part of the pet registration process.
To use your BackHome Discount Card, simply enter your discount number during the checkout process and a 5% discount will be
automatically applied to your merchandise total. The discount number is located on the discount card.
